Currently WPI supports Office 2010 for Windows and Office 2013 for Windows. Both Office 2010 and Office 2013 are available as a network install or can be purchased for use on personal systems. Office 2003 and Office 2007 are not supported.

Q: What versions of Microsoft Office does WPI Support?
A: We support Office 2010 for Windows, Office 2013 for Windows, and Office for Macintosh Standard 2011. Older versions, such as Office 2003 and Office 2007 (for Windows) and Office 2004 and Office 2008 (for Macintosh) are not supported.
Q: How do I get a copy of Microsoft Office for a personal computer?
A: Media for Office 2010 for Windows, Office 2013 for Windows, and Office 2011 for Mac is available for purchase or download at http://www.wpi.edu/+CLA.
Q: Does the Macintosh have a newer version than Office 2011?
A: Microsoft has not yet announced a new version of Office for Mac. The latest available version is Office 2011 for Macintosh. Once Microsoft announces a new version of Office for the Mac, IT will review the software for compatibility with our services and then we will notify the campus with a deployment schedule.
