Job Description: |
The physics department is looking for help working in our classrooms and teaching labs. If you enjoyed your physics class or lab please reach out to the lab manager, or a professor you would like to work with!
Job duties are varied, and depend on the position. In the labs you would be asked to help teach the labs with another experienced lab instructor. This includes grading, answering students emails (to a degree) and being a friendly presence in the lab.
In the lecture, which would be a different position, the students would work with the professor to help support active learning in the classroom. This includes helping students with problems, explaining physics problems, and being a kind presence in the classroom.
