Taking the Sympodium to the Next Level
Have you tried the pen on the monitor in your classroom? You've only just begun! Learn about the features (and bugs) of the Sympodium in this hands-on workshop. See below for a list of rooms with Sympodiums, interactive display systems that can change the way you teach.
Sympodium tools encourage and engage students, leading to increased achievement and interest. Participants in this workshop will review basic software tools that go beyond annotating a slide. In this hands-on session, learn how to most effectively use the Sympodium with programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and a variety of interactive websites. Discover how to record lecture annotations or student presentations so they can then be saved and shared with just a few clicks. Learn how to customize the tools that will enable you to bring your most creative classroom ideas to life on your Sympodium.
Pre-Requisite: This class is offered to faculty and TAs who have used the basic features of the Sympodium (pens, print) and are interested in exploring more options.
