Introduction to SimBiology (MATLAB)
Introduction to MATLAB and SimBiology for Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics and Systems Pharmacology Workflows This introductory workshop will give participants a hands-on experience with implementing PK/PD and systems pharmacology workflows using MATLAB® and SimBiology®. MATLAB is an interactive environment for data analysis and visualization that is extensively used by scientists and engineers. SimBiology® is MATLAB-based tool that provides a graphical environment for modeling and simulating dynamic (ODE-based) systems, focusing on mechanistic systems biology, pharmacokinetic /pharmacodynamic (PK/PD), and physiologically-based pharmacokinetics (PBPK) applications. Prior experience with MATLAB or SimBiology is NOT required. Attendees are expected to have a basic understanding of compartmental PK/PD and mechanistic modeling concepts.
