Mathematica Seminar
Speaker:
Kelvin Mischo ()
Academic Key Account Manager
Wolfram Research, Inc
We're temporarily expanding the Mathematica site license at WPI to give departments enough licenses for course projects for the upcoming academic year. As a part of this, Wolfram Research will be on campus to give a technical talk on Mathematica 7. The talk will be held from 9 -10 AM on Sept 24th in HL234.
This seminar will be given 100% in Mathematica and will show useful teaching and research examples for mathematics, the physical sciences, engineering, and business/economics. Ideas for creating mouse-driven examples will be covered, including how to use and contribute to Wolfram's
collection of applications that is now 5,000+ examples strong.
No prior experience with Mathematica is necessary, and more advanced users will have a chance to ask questions (the speaker has used Mathematica for 14 years).
This course is intended for: Administrators, Alumni, Faculty, Graduate Students, Staff, Undergraduate Students
