Bled is a town in northwestern Slovenia, on the east side of Lake Bled. The area is a popular tourist destination due to its impressive and refreshing scenery; it is also known as Slovenia's Alpine Pearl. The lake is 35km (22mi) from Ljubljana International Airport and 55km (34mi) from the capital city, Ljubljana.
