Hotels on the Map

Hotels 1-4 (circled in red) are situated in downtown at few minute walking distances from the railway station adjacent to the bus terminal (circled in blue). Hotel 5 is located in the southern part of the city (about 2.5 km from the station) and can be reached by a bus.

Local Transport

While the central part of Thun is quite compact and everything there can be easily managed on foot, the city along with its vicinities is served by an extended network of public transportation. Below is a fragment of the plan of city's bus lines.

The Seminar site (EMPA) is connected with the city center by Bus No 4 leaving from the train station every 15 min; the ride (up to the "Post" stop) takes 12 minutes. Bus No 1 (running also with a 15 min interval) makes an easy (7-minute) connection with the Hotel "Alpha".
