The Newell Award

In 1990 the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department created the Newell Award, named for longtime electrical engineering Professor Hobart Newell. This annual award honors graduates of the department who have made outstanding contributions to the electrical engineering profession or to society. Six individuals have received the award:
