Distance Learners
eBooks, eJournals and other eResources
- eBooks, eJournals and other eResources are available for WPI student, staff and faculty use off-campus. Users must login using their WPI username and password (see Off-Campus Access above).
Books and Interlibrary Loan
- Distance learners can register for an Interlibrary Loan account. When setting up the account, please use the address that the materials should be delivered to and use the Notes field to indicate distance learning status. Return mailing labels will be provided by the library for the safe return of materials.
- To find materials locally, search Worldcat.org to see if a nearby library owns the material. Many academic libraries will allow visitors to browse and use materials while they are there.
- Distance learners can also request materials through their local public library.
Research Help
- Librarians are available for virtual consultations. Under “How would you like to meet?” select Web Conferences to arrange a consultation.
- Tutorials are available for self-paced instruction.
