Please note that along with other various enhancements and import bug fixes, the
patches released by Apple include important enhancements to the wireless subsystem.
Therefore, we highly recommend that you ensure that your apple system is fully up to
with all patches before proceeding with these directions.
Requirements:
OX 10.3 or newer.
All OS patches applied.
Your SSID, as configured on your wireless router. For the purposes of this document an SSID of Home-SSID will be used.
Your WPA Passphrase, as configured on your wireless router.
Setup of Your Home Wireless Network
Launch Internet Connect from the Applications folder.
Go to the Network: pull down list and select Other...
From the Wireless Security: pulldown list, select either WPA Personal
or WPA2 Personal to match the configuration on your wireless router.
Type the SSID into the Network Name: field, and the passphrase
into the Password: field. Both of these values must match those
configured on your wireless router.
Click Ok.
Your computer should now automatically connect to your wireless network.
