Tethering or Mobile Hot Spot

This feature allows you to use your cell phone to utilize wireless internet services for your laptop.

Tethering/Hotspot

Tethering/Hotspot is available for $10 per month for unlimited (domestic) data with Verizon Wireless. Requests to add this feature to a WPI owned cell phone should be forwarded to Heidi Startz (heidi@wpi.edu) and should include: employee name, mobile number, and manager approval.

MiFi Device

This device allows up to 5 laptops to utilize wireless internet services at a time. The device is currently free, and the service is $39.99 per month.
