Open Education Week is being celebrated this week around the globe. What is Open Education? It's a movement to reduce or eliminate barriers to learning, One approach to achieving the goals of open education is to develop, adapt, and adopt open educational resources, or OER's.

A team of faculty and library staff at WPI has been working as part of a year-long AAC&U Institute to better understand the motivations, barriers, and avenues to integrating OER practices at WPI.

Want to learn more? Check the wp.wpi.edu/open project site, for updates from the team as well as highlights of resources, events, and issues raised by OERs.
